The Wildcats Band Boosters were organized to support and promote the Centreville High School Band Programs. We work with the director, students and parents to actively support Marching Band, Concert, and Jazz bands throughout the year in a variety of activities:

• Fund Raising
• Transport instruments and Color Guard equipment
• Provide percussion “pit” support for Marching band stage arraingment for concert season
• Fit students for uniforms, maintain uniforms and student appearance prior to performances
• Sell merchandise, tickets and create programs for Concerts
• Chaperone students on trips and during events
• Other essential tasks to support the director and the program.
• The Booster organization includes elected booster officers, dues paying members, and volunteers. Officers provide the leadership and organization of the boosters and execute the daily business, working closely with the Band Director, Music Department and Student Activities to ensure our band students have the best musical experience possible.

What does it take to be a booster? No experience is necessary, all parents are welcome!!

You just need an active interest in your student’s experience in the band program and willingness to give of your time and talent as you can. All dues paying members constitute the voting membership of the boosters, helping to shape the program support the organization provides. Volunteers are always needed to provide extra hands, expertise, and guidance to our bands.

 Band Boosters usually meet on the second Tuesday of the month, 7:15PM in the band room. Dates occasionally change due to other scheduled events/conflicts.
