Percussion Ensemble Class is designed to train the percussionist in proper performance and rehearsal techniques as well as gain experience and expertise on the full array of percussion instruments utilized in the concert band setting.  It is also designed to prepare the percussionist for performance at a more advanced level.  Musical, historical and theoretical concepts are discussed and applied appropriately to every piece of music.  Marching band is strongly encouraged as a requirement for this course.
